The Swedish Evaluation Society (SVUF) was founded in January 2003. It is an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization open to all interested in professional evaluation. Membership can be acquired on an institutional or individual basis. SVUF currently has a register of approximately 200 members.

Our aims:

• To promote diversity in professional and scientifical perspectives on evaluation through facilitation of continuous dialogue around the role of evaluation and evaluators in society.
• To promote the practical and interdisciplinary competence among evaluators.
• To promote the international contacts of the Swedish evaluation community.

One of SVUF’s key activities is a biennial conference on evaluation.
